Eligibility & Requirements
Q: What are the health requirements for my dog to board with Zaagi' Pups? A: For the safety and health of all our guests, all pups must be in good health, up-to-date on all vaccinations (including Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella), and current on veterinarian-prescribed heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Proof of vaccinations and prevention may be required.
Q: Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered? A: Yes, all dogs over one year old must be spayed or neutered to be eligible for boarding at Zaagi' Pups.
Q: What temperament is required for boarding? A: All dogs must have a good, non-aggressive temperament. They should be friendly or at least tolerant of other dogs and humans, as they will be sharing our home environment with other compatible pups and our family. A meet-and-greet or trial stay may be required to assess temperament.
Q: Does my dog need to be housetrained and crate trained? A: Yes, all boarding pups must be fully housetrained. While they may not spend all their time in a crate, they must be comfortable and reliably crate trained for safe and comfortable overnight sleeping and during times when supervision is not direct.
